A happy place for dinner...love the breaded pork cutlet, yummy tiramisu.
The tiramisu is one of the best in Venice.
Service was fast and efficient.

We arrived at 6pm and it wasn't packed but by 7pm it was full. The waiter spoke to us in Italian which I liked. I don't think he spoke much English but wasn't offended by our poor Italian. Me u in English so was ok. Waiter was so happy and service fabulous.
We had a carafe of wine and seafood pasta. Was yummy. Lots of seafood. Pasta cooked to perfection. My partner is fussy with how pasta is cooked. Vino blanco light and refreshing. I would eat her again.
We sat inside as it was raining but it would be lovely to sit outside on a nice evening as it is on the canal.

This is a small restaurant on the edge of a canal connecting with the Grand Canal. It is an unpretentious place, and approaching it cold one would not know that there it has an excellent chef producing food of excellence. We did not book but got a nice table for lunch outside overlooking the canal. We shared a starter of anchovies, shrimp, tomato and mozzarella and then each went our own way. I had an excellent dish of mashed baked cod on a base of soft polenta. We shared a half carafe of good white wine. The cost was about $40 per person which is in keeping with most restaurant prices in Venice.

Best restaurant in my trip. One word "AWESOME". Especially for "Tagliatelle con capestante e porcini", this dish will blow you away.

Wonderful and cosy little place just a short walk to the left as you leave the railway and the restaurant is just next to the first bridge you cross over the waterway. Packed inside with a few tables that have people waiting for seats if you are late. I was lucky and got one freed up when I reached. Fantastic food especially the seafood pasta and the pork cutlet. Drinking spritz and people and boat watching makes the affair even more magical. End it off with a tiramisu, it's amazing and large enough for two. Best of it, it all came at an amazingly value for money price for something this good in Venice. Oh yes, the lady boss speaks good English too and smile a lot, she reacts well when you smile.
