Filet of sole stuffed with crabmeat perfectly prepared, fresh and light with couscous. I usually order fish here. Always special.

We deliberately sought out Arte Della Pizza based on the numerous very positive reviews, and have to admit we were somewhat disappointed by the pizza. Long wait (40 minutes) due to the popularity of the place, but in all honesty we are a tad bewildered about the hype versus the quality of the product - the pizzas were decent, nothing exceptional. Confusion upon ordering led to our having a huge extra large pizza and a personal sized pizza being prepared for the two of us - language barrier obviously led to the confusion, but this resulted in some drama when we did not want the massive XL pizza (plus a smaller pie) for the two of us.

A small, locals type of takeaway, this place is tucked down a small street which was a bit of a mission to find, but was definitely worth the trouble!

The owners (?) were both friendly and spoke English well. They were perfectly happy to answer our questions about the menu despite how busy the place was.

The food was excellent and the ham, mushroom and mozzarella calzone I had was excellent. Prices were also very reasonable with good portion sizes.

If I get to return to Venice some time soon then I'll be making my way here again!

Little difficult to find but certainly worth the effort.they have recently changed location (fall 2012), there are still in the same alley but now a further 50 meters in,just follow the smell of fresh pizza!
We had a medium pizza, beer and a mini pizza for 10 Euros.
In Venice it can be hard to find a good value snack/meal, so mark that one on your map before srtting out from your hotel!

Even if they don't have a traditional wood stove the pizza is absolutely perfect. Good dough and fresh toppings.
They also make changes and add ingredients on request.
It is indeed the best pizza I've ever had in Venice.
