L'Imbarcadero is very small hostel and close to Santa Lucia train station and Riva dei Biasio vaporetto stop; but it's not that easy to find them. I arrived to Venice around 10 pm and tried to find the hostel for about 45 minutes. Calle Zen is very small place; so many local people also don't know it. Though all Venice is like a labyrinth.
The staff was helpful and the point I appreciated that they usually ask people to be more silent. Breakfast was like what you can imagine from a hostel. The room I stayed was okay and had a view to Grand Canal.
The thing I didn't like is the 3 € city tax per night. This is so absurd.
Overall, my payment was worth value according to the conditions of Venice. I can recommend this place to people whose priority is not comfort.More
