We liked this place a lot... off the tourist circuit... excellent chow, more casual, like a neighborhood place. Mid range pricing for Venice. Easy walk from the Westin Europa.

The food, energy, and live music was enchanting! The squid and potato was a favorite and everything else I tasted was excellent. Worth the wait!

Stopped here for lunch. Ok pasta, nothing special, nice wine and surroundings. Menu wasn't to my personal taste but it may be your cup of tea.

It hasn't changed in our 5 visits to venice over last 7 years, excellent food, not cheap but you get what you pay for.

This hidden gem could be overlooked when shopping in Frezzaria, the shops in the small street are amazing. We found this restaurant about 5/6 years ago whilst walking by and popped in for a glass of chardonnay at 11am, (well we are on holiday) and have been dining here at least once/twice per trip every year since.

It is modern, beautifully laid tables, great menu and huge wine selection. Staff are profession, very nice and polite in this very upmarket restaurant, not just cooking plastic pasta dishes etc with bad service and huge bills for the tourists. Yes you can get a bowl of pasta here, but it will be freshly cooked with a modern twist - totally delicious.

Do go in, and prepare your senses for a true culinary experience. Whilst taking pre-dinner drinks at your table, take time to study the menu, and you will read the most amazing combinations you would never have thought would work together, be adventurous try something new!! you will definitely be so pleased you did. When you finally decide on your meal, then choose a great bottle of wine to go with it, they have a marvellous selection. If not sure, they will willing recommend something to compliment your fantastic meal to come, and suit you pocket. We drank Venetian Chardonnay whilst in the city, every bottle was delicious, sadly we cannot buy these wines in the UK.

This restaurant surpasses all expectations, we know we have been eating here on my birthday for years, and have never been disappointed.

Obviously you pay to dine in a great restaurant, good location, great ambience, marvellous imaginative food and good wine, but you do not mind. All of this is a true compliment to the owners, and staff who all have a true passion for everything they do, and it shows!!!! I notice some reviewers say you overpay - total rubbish, if you are a foodie then the price does not come into it.

Make a reservation (as they get very busy) and enjoy an evening of true delight, innovative, sophisticated modern venetian cuisine for the discerning palate. We can't wait to dine here again on our next visit to the city in February 2014.
