We had some trouble finding the place at first, as it had moved. But the search was well worth it. The self-made pasta was good and the graving and the seafood were excellent.

The service was also very nice. The staff was friendly and happily advised about the food and wines.

The locale itself was nice inside, but if you're looking for a nice view, this is definitely not your place.

this eatery has moved but still only a few minutes walk round the corner from the disney shop and pub, very enjoyable meal, menu mainly fish based but the staff were helpful and advised the home made pasta with meat which was delicious whilst my husband had the crab spagetti, with a parma ham starter to share, water, wine and desert to share the total was around 70 euros inclusive of tip and cover charge.

We all had pasta with seafood and we were all pleased. Good and flexible service. The Osteria has moved to a new location and is noe a trattoria. Stay away from the potatoes, not crisp.

This osteria specializes in fish and has recently moved to larger quarters. Everything was excellent, reasonably priced and a very good wine list. Yes, it is hard to find (into an arcade, down a small street), but definitely worth it, especially in comparison to many of the restaurants in the Rialto area. Defies the old myth that you can't get good food in Venice.

After reading about this restaurant in Rick Steves, we tried to go our first night in Venice but it was booked, so we made reservations for the next night. Our waiter seemed to be fluent in multiple languages and quite fluent in English. Their specials were on a black board in Italian, but there was also a menu with English as well. We had the all seafood antipasto which was very good and the lobster on black pasta which was amazing! And they had the best Prosecco!
We loved it so much that we bought a liter the next day from their bar which is right around the corner from the restaurant
