We were in Venice for 3 nights and this hotel was fabulous.

My mother, sisters, and I arrived in Venice by train from Rome. We bought tickets for the water bus and got off at the Rialto Bridge stop. From here, we went through several streets and over probably a dozen bridges before getting to the hotel. It's hard to see coming from that direction -- the sign and entrance is on the right and you can't see it until you turn around!

Note: Google Maps was very helpful during our Italy stay. It wasn't always 100% accurate (Venice is a very complex city), but we would have been eternally lost without the app.

We were greeted at check-in by a fantastic guest services member (perhaps the manager?) He got us all checked in and let us know that since we booked two rooms under the same name, they put us in connecting rooms! That was a very pleasant surprise.

The showers were small, but the bathrooms were very nice and clean. Toilet and bidet.

The hotel is on a small canal, so gondolas would go by occasionally, complete with singing! It was very nice to be able to hear it from our room in the afternoons.

On the top floor, there's an "honesty bar" with various liquors and a nice little terrace. You can see the top of St. Mark's from there!

A delicious breakfast was provided every morning, with lots of hot and cold options.

The Front Desk workers were kind, efficient, and very knowledgeable of the area. We got lots of great restaurant recommendations. They were multilingual, including Italian, English, and Spanish.

When we left for the Venice Airport, we had the Front Desk order us a water taxi. This was a very nice way to leave Venice. We had the taxi to ourselves and it stopped right outside the hotel's door. It was around $150 US to get from the hotel to the airport; about a 30 minute trip.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Family of 4 stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was very charming, good breakfast, great location, friendly staff. Beds were comfortable, a/c worked well. Appreciated the large room with a wardobe for hanging clothes. We would certainly stay here again...it is so close to everything.

This hotel is a gem. Super nice staff, thank you.
Few minutes from the crowd yet in a quiet position of Venice.
As it is in Venezia, the building is old of course.
I had a room near to breakfastroom.
No view, only a narrow alley, but I was pepared for it. The room was ok, the bathroom looked in a need of a facelift, but it was clean. The bed was good, I had good sleeps for two nights.
Breakfast was ok with the money I payed.

I had help at the reception for my bookings. Extra thanks for that.
If you really want to know the history of Venice I highly recommend to take the tour of Venice in a day. It takes you to St. Marks Square, the basilica, the Doge`s palace, the gondol ride and the boat ride. I loved it.

The operahouse is around the corner, La Fenice. I wish I had the time for the concert, but I didn`t. The Filarmonica orcestra has lots of concerts at La Fenice.

On the whole the best feature of the hotel was the location. It felt more like a 3 star than anything else due to the lack of amenities. No bar to relax in at the end of the night - it did have an honesty bar but it was a tiny terrace sitting about 3 people max. It was clean and tidy but nothing to write home about. The breakfast was a bit of a let down - not very much choice in cereals etc and no fresh fruit. It was on a canal but our room wasn't which was a disapointment given we'd paid £200 a night and therefore would say it wasn't value for money. If you got a good deal on price then I would recommend but not if you had to pay top dollar.

Room Tip: try to get a room with a canal view

Great Hotel, where the staff are courteous and extremely helpful. They were a Saving grace when our flights were cancelled and needed to find an alternative hotel. Rooms are classically venetian with a modern twist.
Made a delightful stay. Would definitely return.

Room Tip: Canal side is a treat
