“Big pizzas!”
Reviewed December 19, 2013 via mobile

It can be difficult to navigate the courses in Italy and this place does pretty good pizzas so you could order one on its own with no 1st course etc.
Food overall not bad, but not as good as you would expect from Venice.

“Perfect location on a sunny day”
Reviewed November 15, 2013

This was recommended by Venice TA forum experts and regulars as I wanted a restaurant with a view - without the tourist traps of Rialto.
It fitted the bill perfectly - it was a glorious sunny day in early October. We came here for a bite between lunch and dinner and just had pizza. The pizza was okay - not great - but that didn't really matter as the view up and down the canal was picture perfect. We loved it and were going to come back for dinner to see what the rest of their menu was like, but we didn't make it.
If you're in Venice on a clear blue sky day, then this is THE spot to be.
My four stars are for the atmosphere and location.

“The courtyard looked tempting during the day but was covered over in the evening”
Reviewed October 19, 2013

The Court yard by day became a normal restaurant by night which spoilt it a little The service and food was good but not the best Service was prompt and efficient the whole experience was a pleasant one but I would not be in a hurry to go back. When will Italian restaurant owners realise that cover charges mean the staff don't try there best because in many cases if you have a cover charge the customer will not leave a tip . This restaurant was more expensive than some in the San Marco area ( supposed to be a tourist trap and rip off area)

“great seafood”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

We ate here twice during our 4 days in Venice. The sea food is delicious and the waitresses are really helpful. Great atmosphere in the evenings when the courtyard, open during the day , is closed over. Prices are reasonable for Venice.

“Recommended by my B&B - worth the visit”
Reviewed October 6, 2013 via mobile

Nice meal; priced according to average around Venice.
Book in advance or arrive 10 min prior to opening (7PM).
I had a caprese salad followed by swordfish. Both delicious. Olive oil was on the table and I used it abundantly.
I do recommend if you are in this region.
