Osteria Armen is a bar with a restaurant attatched. when you arrive the front bar is full of the local people enjoying a drink before going home to eat and the tables are then converted into a restaurant after about seven thirty. There is no menu, the waitresses read it to you at the table. This can be difficult for non italian speakers but they are willing to translate it for you as you go.
The food is excellent, try the steak tagliata with rocket. the house wine is fine. Previous reviewers have mentioned the toilet arrangements. There is a key held at the bar for a "ladies toilet" No need to "squat"
