I found this hotel through reviews on Tripadvisor and found it was even better than I expected. We were travelling with another couple, and booked two rooms through Booking.com. We had to make a few changes to our dates in advance, and all our email questions to the hotel staff were addressed politely and promptly. They even added a bed to our room when our son decided to join us for a couple of days at the last minute, as there were no triple rooms available.
The young women at the reception desk were all fluent in English, and went out of their way to be helpful, gracious hosts. They gave us suggestions for restaurants, looked things up on line when they couldn't answer a question, and did it all with a smile.
The hotel is new and modern and is kept up beautifully. Everything was clean and in excellent working order. We were fortunate to have a room with a small terrace, facing the back. We had a quiet undisturbed sleep, with windows open. The hotel had quite a few other guests while we were there, including a few families with children, and we were never bothered with any kind of noise.
The breakfast was better than any I have had at a European hotel/ B&B. Lots to choose from including toast, buns, cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, cheese and cold cuts, juice, tea, expresso or cappuccino, as well as a large selection of pastries. I'm sure I forgot a few things - way more than we could eat.
The walk to Treviso was about 10 to 15 minutes and quite lovely - beautiful old villas along the road - but a bus was also handy if required, with bus tickets sold at the reception desk. A taxi from the train station was 10 Euro. Great gelato shop at the front of the building.
I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Room Tip: We had a room with a small balcony, facing the back. The front rooms face the street and may be a little noisier.

My husband and I visited Treviso at the end of March 2013. It was a rainy week but the vacation was great thanks also to this very nice hotel. It is more like a boutique hotel, so cosy, friendly, clean, with beautiful interior design. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is simply delicious and there is a gelateria opened until late at night where you can taste excellent ice cream but also pasta and salads. It was very quiet and relaxing, our windows were facing the backyard, I don't know about the rooms facing the main street. The location is OK, there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel, but we enjoyed our 20 minutes walk to the city center where you can find great shops with quality merchandise. Be aware that in Treviso lunch is between 12:30 - 14:00, so if you want to have lunch in a restaurant you must respect this time frame otherwise you can buy maybe sandwiches in coffee shops. Treviso is a really nice city and a good point for starting trips. I would like recommend Hotel Rovere to anyone traveling in Treviso.

My brother and I stayed at Hotel Rovere for two nights. It wasn't easy to find from the airport because we didn't have a GPS. Once we found it, however, the staff greeted us nicely. When I walked into the triple room, my jaws dropped. It was magnificent, so much space. The place was very clean too. Breakfast was included in the price of the room, which was very reasonable. Whenever we asked the staff for help with directions or suggestions on places to go and eat, they took the time to help us out. I would most definitely stay at Hotel Rovere again and would recommend this hotel to anyone I know. Just be sure to use a GPS to find it.

Room Tip: Read the reviews from tripadvisor, they really do help.

Just half an hour from Venice, this hotel in Treviso takes you away from the tourists and to a very different Italy. The staff in the hotel were extraordinarily helpful - even before we arrived they were providing advice about transport and places to eat. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the picturesque walled city - perfect for an evening meal then a walk back to the Gelateria for a liqueur and/or ice-cream and coffee. The gelateria seems to be a focal point for the local community - still people arriving at half past midnight on a Saturday night for a last ice-cream before bed. But not noisy or sleep depriving; just buzzing and friendly. The hotel is not big on breakfast - not the place for you if you can't survive without a fry-up. But they do bring in gorgeous fresh pastries from the Gelateria downstairs; there's plenty of cereal and fresh fruit; and coffee/tea from the machine. You eat breakfast in the small reception area, so not a lot of room, but very friendly.

Room Tip: We had the triple room at the top. Lovely and quiet, away from the road, and plenty of space. All beautifully clean. Shower not the most powerful, but perfectly adequate.

We stayed in the Rovere for 5 nights. It was a truly lovely experience. The hotel was immaculate. The bedroom was very comfortable with a lovely en suite.
The staff were magnificent, so attentive, helpful and spoke perfect English. The breakfast was one of the best ever, such a selection to suite everyone. It is also an excellent location to visit Venice without the expense as the local transport system is very good. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to all.
