“Nice cathedral, important relevance to the Catholic Church”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

Beautiful church with the tomb of St Anthony that attracts a lot of the Catholic Church's faithful. Free entrance but no photography. It was nice because it was a living church, still used daily and had frequent services going on.

“Beautiful architecture and calming experience even for a non believer!”

Was very quiet on a Saturday and thoroughly worth a visit. Fascinating to view all the different alters.

“Fab wheelchair access”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

A great example of a busy and beautiful basilica. We were particularly pleased with the excellent wheelchair access and ramps to all parts of the church - this is a rare thing to find in such an old building and we much appreciated it. Thanks!

“A real gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

forget about the basilica Sant marco in Venice this place is a real treasure trove full of amazing art works. For the religious minded there is the added attraction of being able to have close contact with the remains of the saint buried here while the rest of us can just marvel at the beauty of it all.

“Interesting place with a nice combination of art and military history”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013

It's a nice place on the edge of the Vatican City with a great view of most of Rome and the Saint Peter's Basilica. It has a good combination of art - Ancient Roman and Egyptian - and military history which makes the attraction more varied than some of the other Romans sights.
