“A destination on its own”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

This is my second review of this hotel. I just got back from a 6 nights stay in this wonderful hotel, which was the reason why I extended my stay in the Venice area as I knew that I could walk around all day in Venice to see the Biennale 2013 and would come back to my nicely decorated and free wifi room and blog about my daily experiences using the desk in my room. It was like a home rental but even better than that with the always wonderful breakfast and daily cleaning of the room. Belludi 37 is one great choice if you plan to visit Venice and it gives you a chance to avoid crazy room prices in Venice, stay in a modernly decorated clean hotel and get a break from the Venice crowds whenever you need it. It was my second stay at his hotel and will definitely not be the last.

Room Tip: “Even the single room with share bathroom is a great deal as I was the only one using the share bath...

We stayed 2 nights in this lovely hotel. The long walk (but interesting since the way is right through the old town) from the station to the hotel is worth the effort. This is a very pleasing hotel, perfectly located in front of the Basilica which we could see from our balcony (room 107 - the best of the best). The interior is modern and pleasing to the eyes. Nice touches such as fruits in the room, expresso machine. The staff was very helpful and courteous. THE place to stay while in Padova.

Room Tip: Room 107 was our room: a room with the perfect view.

We stayed in the Belludi 37 for two nights during our cycling holidays and were mostly impressed by the extremely friendly and competent staff both at the reception and in the breakfast room. We had a nice and quiet room towards the courtyard and enjoyed our stay and the great breakfast. Clearly to be recommended.

Upon arrival we were graciously welcomed by the front of house staff. He knew exactly what he was doing, was professional, courteous and charming. He showed us to our room (107) and told us it was the best room in the hotel. Once he opened the shutters and led us onto the balcony, we understood why. It opened upon onto the Basilica di Sant Antonio and a beautiful square below.
The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was more than adequate.

I'd definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Room 107. It's the only one with a wrap around balcony and feels more like a cosy flat than a ho...

We arrived early in the morning and were greeted warmly by the receptionist that made our check-in and offered us a quality “expresso” coffee that was much appreciated. The hotel has no elevator but the receptionist told us to just leave our bags with him and they would appear in the room by “magic”.
The room was excellent, had a small table with two chairs, wi-fi connection and a coffee table with kettle and selection of teas and biscuits. The location of the hotel is very good, close to the Saint Antony Basilica and you can walk easily to the city center.

Hotel was in good location close to the major sights and was easily accessible from the train station by tram and bus. Service is very friendly and accessible. The receptionist who met us was very welcoming and did everything to ensure that we felt welcomed. He upgraded our room just because it was our first visit to Padova. Breakfast was excellent. The only feedback I would like to give them is that the recommendation of Al Prato for dinner was a poor choice. Otherwise, there is really no criticism at all of the hotel, its staff and service at all. Highly recommended stay.

My wife and I stayed at Belludi 37 after 2 weeks of moving around from different inns and hotels in the UK and Italy. High ceilings, large room, very comfortable bed, great air conditioning and close but not too close to the main action. Hotel staff are also extremely welcoming, especially Thomas. The town itself is also a great break from nearby tourist-driven areas such as Verona and Venezia..
