For a hotel located in the business district, this establishment requires a major renovation. The facade is very old, reception area is dark. One female front desk person is friendly though there's some language barrier. The guy standing next to her was minding his own business and not smiling not acknowledging my presence. When I tried to ask for help, he just pointed his finger to the female clerk. And he had this stiff and cold attitude.

Our room is dark and dingy. The smell of cigarette is strong and the carpet is dirty. Bed is not comfy either.

They overcharged us for the laundry services which was straightened out anyway. But their prices are still ridiculous. 12 euros for a simple top, better to buy a new one instead.

The good side? It's close to all the nice shops and restaurants. And only 20 minutes away from Venice.

Old hotel, has made an effort to update the facilities, but some things are missing. Like accessible, conveniently placed outlets in the room; wifi to which you don't have to sign in everytime you return and that doesn't expire after so many hours; like a better mattress, mine was very hard; like sheets that fit the mattress (unbelievable!). And most importantly, staff that isn't defensive and that would want to help. This sheet business was ridiculous, especially when it was I who ended making my bed while the guy just stood there... arguing! Reception staff was also ready to argue, but by now, I knew better.
The bathroom had been updated and was comfortable to use. Breakfast was fine. The location of the hotel is good, just a few minutes walk from Centro, 15 min from the Scrovegni Chapel. However, there is quite a bit of traffic on Corso Milano and I could hear it in my single room #419.
Thought Padova was a worthwhile stop in my journey, may return to the town, to a different hotel.

The hotel is worn out, breakfast -unsatisfactory.

Especially bad things: while entring the room I realized that the bathroom had not been cleaned after the previous guests. I informed the guy at the reception about it, but he even did not apologize for that! And in general, behaved in an impolite way.

In the other room, which they finally gave me, the TV did not work, but it was nothing comparing to the dirty bathroom, of course...

The location is O.K.-you can reach the central part of the town by foot rather fast.

After two weeks in Italy, or last two nights were in Padua. The Plaza was a wonderful finish to a great vacation. Clean, comfortable, the rooms were very good. The staff was attentive and very helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Very good hotel. Has excelent location and breakfasts. But has view to very noisy street from some rooms. They process passports too long and they propose not to wait for finish and just receive passports on reception in an hour...

The hotel is located around 5-10 min walk from the center and 20 min from the train station. It is a place well past its glory days with outdated furnishings. Everything had an old and slightly dirty feeling-especially the carpet. I did not dare walk on it barefoot.

The rude staff on the front desk did not help matters. Carlo and the young woman with the long black hair who checked us in are neither service minded nor even friendly. We did not feel welcome at all.

I had written in advance asking for a quiet room as we are light sleepers and were given a room facing the main street on the edge of the hotel over the trash that was emptied loudly at least twice during the night (separate recycling containers). Combined with traffic from the cars it was impossible to sleep. Note that the hotel was nowhere near full so I do not understand why we were put there despite my request.

On a positive note the breakfast was really good as were the staff there, who were welcoming and friendly.

Overall, I would recommend to avoid.

Room Tip: Don't bother they don't care about your preference.

This hotel is well located close to the historic centre. The rooms was large and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. An excellent choice for a short stay. I must say I was disappointed in the breakfast.

Room Tip: I would suggest you chose somewhere else to dine as the restaurant is dull and dated
