a lovely alpine pension house hotel with a very pleasant and relaxing feel, superbly situated in the beautiful alpine town of Courmayeur. The owner, Manilo, pronounced "Malio" is delightful, very friendly and cannot do enough to help. the rooms are typical italian alpine, basic but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. we stayed late season so stayed on a B&B basis; the breakfast was as you would expect, basic continental however we aksed for eggs and they very kindly scrambled us some eggs.

the staff are all very helpful and will help you at any time; ski hire is 2 mins walk away, a well equipped ski storage and garage and close proximity to the lifts make this a perfect ski hotel. it is close enough to the centre of town, without being too far to walk yet it is quietly away from town for peace and quiet

A 2 minute walk from the hotel to the ski lift but close to the bustling via Roma shopping district. Staff are very friendly and helpful and owner Malio is a top host. Rooms clean and breakfast substantial. Hotel is very good value.

Stayed with friends on a long weekend ski trip. Have often struggled to find accommodation in resort for long weekend but it was no problem here and good value at £100 for a double. The room 206 was lovely with a small balcony, fantastic views and even a window in the bathroom. Very clean, bathroom spacious but shower cubicle let it down although shower itself was fine.
Staff extremely helpful, fun and friendly. No problem to borrow a conversion plug or get a 6.30 am breakfast on departure day. Location very good, 5 minutes from cable car and 5 minutes to main part of town. Courmayeur sking lovely but quite small, two days is enough. Easy to ski in nearby La Thuile which has more skiing.
Would highly recommend hotel and will stay again if inn Courmayeur.

Room Tip: room 206 has great views

Stayed with friends for a long weekend skiing. The Hotel Triolet's owner Manilo and staff were super friendly, the rooms were clean & comfortable, the breakfast was good and it is less than 5 mins from the cable car. I'd definitely stay again.

We stayed at this hotel in early Jan 2014 whilst on a short ski break. The big positive for this hotel is it's close proximity to the main cable car which must be no more than 100m away. Generally the hotel is as you might expect for a 3* hotel but there were a few things we found a little disappointing. The room we found to be cold at the time you needed it to be warm (when you were in it) and hot when you weren't! Really not sure what the hotel management were thinking here. The other minor gripe was that the ski boot room was effectively just the downstairs corridor and there was no heating to dry out any damp boots. As others have reported the breakfast is somewhat limited but was adequate for our needs (Scrambled egg portions were immense and very tasty). The hotel manager was very welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. A word of caution though if you are intending to ski in La Thuille - the ski bus (no longer free) departs from the bus station which is in the town centre which is a significant walk away in ski boots. So much so that we abandoned our plans to go there! There is a good little ski hire shop only 100m away from the hotel and you get a 10% discount as a hotel guest which turned out to be cheaper than booking on line even with the 'special' discounts they are continually offering! Would stay again but this is mainly due to the location in relation to the main lift.
