My wife and I stayed at Meuble Laurent for 4 nights. The hotel is perfectly located (Near the bus station, 2 mins walk to the main street via Roma and a 5 mins walk to the Courmayeur Cable Car). There is a great restaurant right opposite the hotel (Du Tunnel). The rooms are not very big but are clean, comfortable and cozy. The best thing about this place was the service. The family that owns/runs the hotel are very welcoming and will try and accommodate your every request. I would like to thank the family for arranging breakfast in our room the day we were leaving. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the future.

We stayed here 2 nights during our TMB hiking. It was very relaxed, clean, and with an excellent breakfast. The only reason for me to deduct 1 point is that we were recommended to wash our clothes in a laundry place next to a nearby pharmacy. When we picked them up, they asked for 25 instead of the agreed 20 eur. Fine, we only paid 20. Later, we found our clothes were still very wet, smelly, and most barely washed. Avoid this laundry place!! By the way, the salades in the butcher in the main shopping street are amazing, and if you have the opportunity and cash, go for the skyway to see the glaciers from above, it's amazing.

Room tip: We had room 14, which has a view on the garden, and away from the street.

The hotel is smallish and not too modern. The rooms are outdated - floral decor, fitted carpet and thick curtains - and the bathroom is vaguely smelly.
Breakfast is not typical nor local: the selection of cereals and biscuits is of industrial type and the choice is rather limited. We went there as part of a group to take part into a sports event and we agreed on savory breakfast to be served to the athletes - ham, toasts, cheese and the like - but when we asked again once at the hotel all we got as an answer was a shrug.
Also, the concept of "family owned" reaches a new level here: we were asked to leave the rooms no later than 9.00am and when we got back later to collect our belongings we were met by a sign reading "Will be back later".
The only positive aspect is its central location right in the heart of the town and the price: 90 euros for a double room, which you won't get anywhere else in Courmayeur. That said, I would have happily paid more for a better place but like I said I went there as part of a group. Otherwise, I would have chosen somewhere else.

we stayed at the Meuble Laurent for 4 nights (5 adults). the place is smack in the middle of .... everything - 2 mins from the high street, 30 seconds from supermarket, 5 from the lift - you get 10% discount on one of the ski rental places (in via delle volpi, opposite the main lift to go to the slopes) if you mention you stay at meuble laurent.

rooms are confortable, clean, big enough, everything is working, the hotel is central, cheap quiet, spotless, breakfast is rich and good, amazing yoghurt. the family running the business is very nice and friendly as 99.74% of the people in courmayeur. absolutely 5 stars! no complain at all. totally recommended.

on the slightly less positive side, wifi might be not 100% reliable. i didnt use it much so i didnt care.
secondly, if yuo want to party, do it at the 100s bars you got around and not in the hotel.

This is a small family-run hotel at the heart of Courmayeur. Close to all amenities (small supermarket, restaurants, bars, etc.), it has a lovely chalet feel. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was better than I had expected after reading other people's reviews, and the owners were very helpful with local knowledge. The only downside was that the wifi connection was unreliable (it stopped working for long periods of time) and the checkout was a little bit too early (10:00am). But all in all, a great value hotel for a ski trip to the Italian Alps.
