Just returned from a great stay at Hotel Mignon in Cervinia on a skiing trip. Super hotel and a great location right in the centre of town and moments from the nearest lift. Stayed B&B and the rooms were very good and breakfasts excellent with great staff throughout. We will be back!

This was the first time that we stayed in Cervinia and at the Mignon. The whole experience was very relaxing, friendly and welcoming. We stayed on a half-board basis. The dinners were excellent - well balanced and with a choice of three starters and main courses - there was also an antipasto, cheese and dessert course! The breakfasts were also very varied and offered great options. The standard room was a good size and perhaps the only thing that was missing was a bath instead of the fully functional shower.

The decor gives the feel of a much older place and the friendliness of not only Christiana and the other sisters that run it but also staff such as the ever-friendly Luca and Elena made it a truly relaxing stay.

It is literally 100 metres from the slopes and skipass office.

We are currently here with our family, enjoying not only spectacular skiing but also the most charming hotel in town. The staff is sincerely attentive, no request is too much trouble, the three sisters that own the property natural hosts and the food... well, the highlight! Make sure you ask Luca for some wine advice - he is very knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms are small but well appointed, immaculately clean, and the apres ski atmosphere in the living room very cozy. A true treat!

Some guy friends and I stayed here last week for a thanksgiving week ski trip. We were weary when we booked because bed and breakfasts can sometimes be a little weird. This place was more of a hotel than a B&B but still had all of the hospitality of a B&B. The location was perfect: on the Main Street with lots of food and booze offerings, close to parking, and walkable even to the furthest ski lift. In full season, there is a lift just meters away and I expect you can ski almost to the door. I can't overstate how awesome the staff were here. Breakfast was a hearty feast, and the coffee service was a nice boost to start the day. I will be returning to Cervenia, and refuse to stay anywhere else!

stayed here more than once and the friendly and relaxed atmosphere is really enjoyable. It is one of those places however where you tend to soften your voice as it is a rather quiet place. I didn't see any children when I was there so maybe that had something to do with it. The bar is really a place where you sit down with a wee dram and a coffee and read a book. Noth the kind of place where you hang out with mates having loud conversations over multiple beers. The perfect hotel if you are looking for peace and quiet. Very good food as well.
Negatives: sound insulation of the rooms and the fact that in a single room the bed is placed at the window so you have to stuff the curtains in the window frame corners to keep the cold out

Overall a nice place to stay for a weekend!
Room very clean, window on the main street of Cervinia.
Very good breakfast and excellent dinner service.
A pity that sound insulation of the room was poor. We were waken up at 7am by a noisy neighbour who was screaming at phone!

Our second visit to the Mignon for skiing in Cervinia and frankly, it was lovely. I have never stayed anywhere where you are greeted with a kiss to welcome you back. Christina and Gabriella make great hosts, Luca, Katerina & Disma (sorry if spelling wrong) are super staff. Rooms are clean & comfortable. You could here noise from other guests getting up and from the bar when we went to bed (at 10!) after a day skiing, but it neither woke or kept us awake (no noise before 7.30 or after 11 in any case). I have not stayed anywhere else in Cervinia, but my family have and they now always return here.
Food is excellent, with local dishes and wines available. 5 courses if you can manage it, always with a choice of 3 dishes for starter and main. Luca is an expert on wine and cheese, Katerina a great, friendly waitress.
Breakfast spread and choice is great with plenty to keep you going for as busy day skiing - cereals, breads, yoghurt's, ham, cheese, eggs, cakes, fruit, etc.
Good position for the Cretaz lift, ski school, high street and car parks.
I recommend the Mignon, just don't book at Easter and take my rooms!

Room Tip: ask for a higher floor if you might be bothered by some noise
