Met this restaurant while walking in Aosta, and we loved it so much that we visited for the second time! Make sure you book in advance as its always full up. The food is very good and the prices are very cheap. The staff is typical italian, loud and friendly! Its a place visited by many locals thats why its genuine. Thanks, with love from Malta :)

We went there after a long day of traveling by the recommendation of our host and we were totally ignored over all the Italians coming in - let’s say all the locals were getting seated and served and we waited over an hour and kept getting told it was only going to be 5 min. We finally left.
We went to Lo Sbrano about 0.5 miles away and were treated like royalty and the pizza was exceptional! I guess it was a blessing in disguise.

Based on what people said and the reviews, I would also score this restaurant highly. I believe the service is sometimes slow as this is a busy and popular restaurant.

I am so sorry I couldn't eat here

We have been to Aosta a few times and always visit this restaurant with our kids for a good value authentic Italian meal with the locals. We have always found the staff to be helpful and efficient and the food is of a high standard. The upstairs room is always busy when we have visited and at weekends you will need to book. Calamari are very good and the alla matriciana has a good kick. Spaghetti Vongole was laden with clams and very tasty. My kids claim the Pizza is excellent and my kids are aficionados when it comes to pizza classification. We shared 3 starters and each had a main of pizza or pasta with a couple of desserts, water, a bottle of wine and 2 coffees. The bill came to about 100 euros for 5 people. A bargain.

Eat with the locals. Basic setting. Superior pizza. Fantastic risotto. A bit of a wait at lunchtime but worth it
