I wouldn't say you have to travel to come to this restaurant, but if you are in the hotel of which it is part and don't feel like going into town it offers a perfectly acceptable alternative.
I was struck by a certain lightness of hand: for example in a pasta dish a ragout, which often unfortunately is a greasy heavy mess, was not at all so and was properly executed. Another first course of 'strozzapreti' with a cheese sauce was flavoursome even if just a little salty. A main of salmerino (arctic char) was moist, nicely cooked, with good produce. The other main of venison with polenta was more hearty, but once again not heavy.
Service depends a bit on individual servers, some of whom don't appear to be properly trained to restaurant level. Luckily the majority of them has a good attitude. Food prices are very fair. We only had a couple of glasses of local bubbly to drink, and they also had an extremely friendly price.
