This is one of several of the Forsterbrau restaurants. This one is convenient to the spa pools and there aren't too many other places nearby. We went in because it was busy. My husband had weinerschnitzel, which was huge and he loved it. The roast potatoes with it were also excellent. I had goulash, which was very good, but I wished that the roast potatoes had come with it rather than polenta. I think I'd ask for that. The man who seated us spoke English but the waiter did not, and the menu was in German and Italian, but not English. However, when we asked, they did find a waiter who spoke English to help us decipher a few words on the menu. This was done cheerfully, although it did take a bit of a wait for him to get to us. The beer was excellent. The atmosphere is convivial and appropriate for families, couples, friends, everyone. We were very pleased with this find. Don't be put off if the front room seems full, as there is another large room separated by an outside courtyard, which has seating for good weather.
