We had a lovely stay at this hotel. We had a south-facing room, which is a must if you want a balcony room with a view. The outdoor dining is very relaxing with the gorgeous view of the mountains & vineyards. The outdoor pool was a great place to unwind after a hot day of sightseeing & hiking. We stayed for 7 nights and the breakfast got a bit boring after the 4th day, but otherwise a decent selection of food. The in-room internet connection never worked and the shared computer in the lobby was always down. But the staff was very accomodating & allowed me to use the office computer to get on the internet. We have 2 small children & they enjoyed the toy area by the front lobby. It was a great distraction for them while we were dining & we were able to still keep an eye on them.

Room Tip: South-facing rooms have views of the mountains & vineyards.

We were very happy that we picked this hotel. Driving into Bolzano on the first day did not leave me with a great impression of the city but as we continued to this hotel that opinion changed. It is a bit difficult to get to - have faith - even when you don't think it could possibly be up that tiny road - it is. We should have listened to our GPS but questioned it when we were only one corner from the hotel. We did find it the second try with not problems with the GPS. It is a tiny road and there are cars going up and down so you need to be a bit creative.

Our room was very nice. It had a view and very nice balcony. But, the location makes up for it. The room is fairly modern, the bathroom is a good size and modern. The view is wonderful. The place is just a lovely tranquil oasis of calm. We loved the restaurant including breakfast. There are walks you can take from the hotel that are also wonderful. You can walk into town or just use the trail for a relaxing stroll after dinner.

Great and helpful staff. We will go back to this hotel.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff was very accommodating and helpful and the onsite restaurant is very good. Definitely opt for a room with a mountain view!

The hotel was a little hard to find for people who don't own GPS. But we found a police station, with half broken English, we found we were very close to the hotel. We kept going up this hill and finally reached the destination, the view was superb! It definitely worth having dinner outdoors with the view. The restaurant was open past 10 pm and we were not rushed. Excellent place to stay if you can find it!

we were 3 couples visiting the area for a week and we enjoyed the stay very much. the rooms are very nice and cozy. clean and have a good view.
both breakfast and dinner were great. the food is excellent. if you are here - take a dinner in your deal as well!!
the location and view are great as well. the hotel is located on the mountain side above the city. you can look at the city roofs and the forests around it.
but most important is the stuff - the hotel is a family hotel, and everyone are very friendly and helpful. they are doing everything to make sure you enjoy your stay.
if you are planning a trip to this area, this hotel should definitely be your choice!

Room Tip: all rooms are good
