Easily overlooked on a somewhat remote address, this is indeed a gem of a restaurant. The dishes are tasteful and incredibly fresh for a seafood restaurant located nowhere near the sea. Equally impressive is the variety of dishes they offer. Service is swift and attentive and the atmosphere genuine.

I do recommend to reserve on Saturdays, especially if you want to go a bit later in the evening. The style of the Restaurant is very nice, not too much but still it has an Asian Flair. The menue is great, there is much more than only sushi, eventhough I highly recommend the Sashimi of Salmon. Great place to go. Pity, you cant sit outside in summer though.

Tobiko has evolved through the years and the Korean owner has had the courage to change from minimalist chi-chi style Japanese sushi to something less "common". Back to a more traditional Korean grill/Japanese Sushi-ya the feeling is of more coziness and rooms have improved in lay-out.
The place is quiet and intends to be so, with a nippy but discreet service.
The menu is traditional so there is no cross contamination with Brazilian/California rolls, so don't bother looking for cheesy Philadelphia and Salmon stuff.
Whether you like kimchi decoared Korean plates or top quality traditional plates from Japan, this is the place to be. Good for romantic dinners and small get togethers.

This place has both Japanese and Korean chefs, and I have to admit, I've never had anything from the Korean menu, so can't really comment there.

The Japanese food is of a very good quality, some of the best in Torino. The service is exceptional and most of the staff are Japanese. The place is decorated in Japanese style and the atmosphere is very nice. Ideal for a romantic dinner on a special occasion.

The chicken teriyaki dish is great, so is the tempura and the sushi is of a very high standard - hard to find in Torino.

But be prepared to spend around 30-35 euros per person at least.

Worth a visit!

I'm not experienced in the art of dining Japanese, but this was a really enjoyable lunch with friends. One of the girls had been before, and so we decided to give Tobiko a try. Two of the girls had never eaten Japanese before, but thoroughly enjoyed their first time! Great lunchtime menu on offer, with a choice of either individual dishes, or the good selection of degustation options (including wine or water and coffee). We each opted for a different degustation and we weren't disappointed. The staff are very friendly and the interior is tastefully decorated. It's definately a hidden gem of Torino, and would highly recommend a visit! We'll be back again for a girly lunch! :)
