“Pizza del giorno changes daily”
Reviewed October 18, 2011

Fratelli La Bufala franchising is a guarantee for good food, but also sometimes for expensive meals. Kept this in mind, it is a good venue for your lunch break, providing traditional buffalo food (cheese, meat and so on), salads, and pizza.
If you trust the pizzaiolo, choose without watching the menu, the "pizza del giorno". You won't be dissatisfied.

“Good pizza, wine rip-off”
Reviewed July 24, 2011

Our pizza at Fratelli di Bufala was very good but our experience was spoiled by a probelm with ordering wine. We were looking for a relatively inexpensive wine and asked about a carafe of house wine. Our waiter responded that they didn't serve wine by the half liter and he suggested a bottle of aglianico. We agreed, thinking it would be a relatively inexpensive wine, given that we had asked for house wine. Imagine our dismay when the check came and the wine cost 22 euro! It was as much as the rest of the meal put together.

Yes, we should have asked the price but we have had so many bottles of good Italian wine in Italy for modest prices that we felt blindsided. After all, this was a casual pizzeria, not an expensive restaurant. We expressed our concern to the restaurant staff but they did not adjust the bill. Unforunately it turned what had been a pleasant evening into an unpleasant experience.
