The food was delicious. The "Vitello Tonnato" is paradisiac. The fresh pasta was excellent. Instead we weren't too impressed with the rabbit confit, in which we found a couple of tiny bones. We concluded our supper with some cheeses that were very nice, but I have tried better ones in the region. The wine, Vietti Nebbiolo Perbacco 2011 was also very nice, but not comparable to the 2009 bottle, and we paid way too much for it.
The atmosphere was lovely and the owner very friendly and despite the fact that the place was very busy, he personally served all the guests, explaining the dishes and the wines.
Perfect for all types of occasions, from post business meeting to romantic dinners and even if alone to cuddle your taste buds, stomach and spirit!
Elegant but not pretentious.
Quite pricey but worth it. In two we spent 80 Euro on two starters, one plate of pasta, two second dishes and a small board of cheeses + wine and coffees. However, we came out of the restaurant with a joyful and lifted mood, a big smile on our faces and truly relaxed.
