“Great stay close to train station”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Don't let the look of the area around the hotel deter you...like any large city near a train station it can be a little sketchy but we had no problems at all and the interior of our hotel was very nice, quiet and comforting on a day we needed rest from our travels. The only thing that would have been nice would be a television from at least the 1990's!

Price-quality ratio was perfect for me, for 60 eur per night, I had a spacious single room and decent breakfast.
The room is really soundproofed, i didn't hear any noise from the train station. Room was bright, spacious, had high ceilings, good modern bathroom, comfortable bed with good quality linens.
The location is very convenient for the train station (30 seconds) and city center, though the surroundings are fool of not very friendly looking persons that can be usually found in train station area in every city.
Also it's very convenient that you can make all the way down to the palazzo reale under the porticos not bothering about the rain or active sun

I chose this hotel both for its price and for its location, and was not disapointed. It is an excellent choice for short business stays in Turin, although the first impression when arriving, both for the area and for the exterior aspect is rather bad. However, as other reviewers mention, inside the hotel is completely different.

On the good side, I would mention that is very conveniently located, offers a big working area in the room, a locker, a decent breakfast and is clean. The bathroom was big, clean and included jacuzzi (at no extra cost). I wan to say that contrarily to what I expected from a room facing the train station, it was very silent at night so sleep quality was fine (I was in the 3rd floor). On the drawbacks side, Internet wireless signal was veeeery poor in the room, the minibar was not very well assorted (only a few drinks), the TV (only a few Italian channels) and the lack of any common facilities like gym, etc. Common areas are small and not specially comfortable (specially the hotel lobby). The decoration of the rooms is nothing special and the overall impression is just average. Not an hotel you will remember for life, definitely.

The area is not the best, as many reviewers mention, but seems safe even at night. However, not a place I would like my family to stay if in a longer trip to the city.

Room Tip: Even if you room is for non-smokers, it can be smelly. Mine was. Check it out first!

Located at the via Nizza very close to the old town. Some rooms are facing the main road, for some it might be too much traffic noise. It is next to the red district, but quite safe, just to be prepared. Hotel rooms are OK. Reception and service staff very helpful. If u need a paking lot, advise the hotel in advance .. They have a protected private parking. Will go back, excellent city hotel.

very central location adjacent to the Porta Nova rail terminal. The hotel is small and friendly. the 1st time I stayed, my room was excellent, this time it was only average. Very clean rooms with free WiFi which is always a bonus. The breakfast is not up to much but was included in my rate. The was a distinct lack of places in which to plug electrical appliances.

Really close to the station, clean, well equiped rooms and friendly staff. What more could you ask for?

Great for a short weekend or business break, the safe in the wardrobe was most useful too.

We used this as a base for exploring Turin centre, if travelling by train, it gets no more convenient!

Cheap too...which really helps :-)

We choose this hotel for an overnight before travelling to PARIS by TGV , The hotel i just on the back side of the main railway station Porta Nuova . Check in was very fast we were accomodated in a huge room two floors (probably a junior suite). The rooms as well as the whole hotel were clean, the breakfast was quite good. Due to its location the hotel is prefect for business trips or for short stop overs.
