Each aspect simply excellent. Service always over expectation and proactive.
Breakfast very good and complete.
Nice environment in green area close to Superga Railway station.
Rooms are very clean. Restaurants in the area are superbe! Hotel can even offer quick/simple dining for whom don't like to move so much.

Room Tip: Better choose room close to Gim

The hotel is quietly situated on the north-eastern fringe of the city. Bus 15 - not Tram as the website would indicate - takes 15 minutes to the city centre and costs just Euro 1.50 each way.
If arriving by car from the North, cross the Po river and after 400m the road becomes the Via Tommaso Aguido. At the first set of lights on this road - after crossing the river - move into the right hand lane and after approx. 70m turn sharp right into the gravel driveway.
The rooms are very clean with towels changed daily. Breakfast is delightful with everything on offer. There are a selection of restaurants within a five to ten minute walk. If visiting the magnificent Basilica di Superga, remember it is closed all day on Tuesdays.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Parco Sassi Hotel in Torino in early August, travelling from Lyon in France to Lavis in Trentino Alto Adige. My daughter and her husband found this hotel and booked us in. We met up in Torino for a couple of days before going on to Lavis. The hotel is set in expansive grounds on the bank of the River Po and is a model of tranquility. While the hotel is not "near" the city centre we considered this to be an advantage as public transport is close by and the setting is much nicer than would likely be found in an inner city hotel. The location suited us really well. On the first evening we were there we walked from the hotel along the river to Via Po in the main retail area of the city, which took us about an hour but was very pleasant. On the following day we caught a Number 68 bus on Piazza Alberto Pasini which is less than 200 metres from the hotel and it took us right into town and back. Unfortunately we were there on a Monday when all museums are closed. We had wanted to visit the Museo Nationale de Cinema and the Egyptian Museum but only saw them from the outside. We will make sure that we are in Torino on days other than Monday on our next visit. Despite this we spent a very pleasant two or three hours wandering through the main retail centre of Torino. The Parco Sassi Hotel advertises itself as a leisure hotel and it is certainly a very nice place to relax. It appears to be quite new with large rooms, windows across the whole of the external wall of our room and a very comfortable bed. The room was equipped with air conditioning but we opted for fresh air and opened our windows. We were in room 97 and on the morning of our second day had a great view of the Italian Alps in the distance. The bathroom was well equipped and had excellent shower pressure. WiFi is provided free and was of good strength. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and was substantial. It was certainly plenty for our needs with cereal, cold meats and cheese, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and boiled eggs, a good variety of breads and pastries, fresh fruit juice, coffee and tea. We certainly didn't go hungry. Our daughter and son-in-law had a car with them and parking at the hotel is very substantial. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We purchased tickets for public transport at the reception desk. We are in Torino during the holiday period so there were not many guests in the hotel, which surprised me. Maybe being a relatively new hotel it is not well known. Would we go back - absolutely. Would we recommend it to other travellers - absolutely.

Room Tip: All rooms are on the ground floor but there are a number of steps the further the rooms are away fro...

It is a beautiful hotel located outside the city centre in a national park. It is a clean, quiet and modern hotel. It offers free WIFI, plenty of free parking spaces. Beds are big and comfortable. Rooms are modern and clean. They offer a great and healthy range of breakfast. It is easy to go to town as the bus outside the hotel takes you directly to the city centre. Staff can improve on their friendliness. I would stay there again.

Room Tip: A junior suite can be very nice as it is located in the corner. Can provide a separate patio for a g...

After a little difficulty finding the hotel, we were very pleasantly surprised how quite and spacious the grounds were. There is plenty of parking and the WiFi and breakfast are very good. We left the car there and caught the No 15 bus into town which was not very far. The benefits of staying at this location far out weighs the problems of a inner city hotel. There are plenty of lovely local restaurants a short distance away. Highly recommend this hotel for a driving holiday stopover.

Located on the edge of a park just outside town, the area around the hotel was quiet and green. Out room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was rich, frequently re-stocked and even though it was in a busy period there was no "stress" - plenty of staff and good organisation. Transport into town was easy and swift with the tram - great service selling tickets in the reception.

Since the place offers free parking, it might be worth noting, that the directions given on google maps and from our GPS were not accurate, the hotel is at the end of the small gravel road just west of, and running in parallel with Via Tommaso Agudio, which is accessed via Strada del Cimitero di Sassi!
