“Helpful staff, uncomfortable rooms”
Reviewed November 28, 2011

Serena at the Front Desk is extremely helpful and accommodating, however I was dissatisfied with the cleanliness and I had a hard time getting comfortable in the room. I did not know that you had to request a non-smoking room, and our room smelled horribly of smoke. The floors in the room had dust and dirt on them but fortunately the private bathroom and shower were extremely clean and well maintained. I liked how the shower and toilet were separate from the sink. The sheets were clean and we had a good night's sleep after a few glasses of wine and a delicious dinner at Slurp! right across the street. Serena recommended Slurp! and we were very pleased with our dinner and the funky ambiance and great service of the restaurant. Additionally, the provided breakfast buffet was another redeeming quality of the hotel - complete with a coffee at the click of a button as well as granola, yogurt, pastry and fresh fruit. The proximity to the station in Torino was nice and the main reason we picked this hotel. Other than the fact that the room smelled vaguely of smoke, the floors were dusty and the furniture in the room was not well maintained it was an okay stay. It was nice to have 24/7 assistance but with no free internet and only moderately clean rooms at that price it was just okay, not a good value in my opinion. I left with a bad taste in my mouth and happily boarded the train to Aosta to get out of the big city an on to the Italian Alps.

Room Tip: Request a non-smoking room.

Great location close to train station. Excellent value for money and superbly maintained, super clean rooms. Includes continental style .breakfast good selection! Super friendly accommodating staff, was organised for us through the turn tourist information office at the station (possibly the best tourist office in Italy?)

This is the second time we've stayed here enroute to Savona for a cruise.
Basic but clean and in close proximity to both the centre and - more importantly - the railway station.
Would stay there again

Room Tip: Basic but clean

This hotel is very clean, central, it is easy to get to from the station, is blessed by having very very helpful staff, a great breakfast and a power shower. There is a lot to see in Turin so you won't spend much time in the room but when you do it has everything you need at a great price. My only criticisms would be the expensive but slow internet in the foyer and a soft mattress.

Room Tip: Room 109 is fine if travelling alone

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. Admitedly it wasnt the height of luxury but, for the price, it was perfect. The location is fantastic, very close to the station and easy to get to from the airport with public transport.
