“Ok for a business stay.”
Reviewed July 29, 2012

This hôtel is OK for a business stay. You hear EVERYTHING through the walls and the hotel is located at a good walk from the centro. In general, if you get a good price and budget is limited, this hotel will suit your needs. If you are looking for something charming or very well located, you should pass. Breakfast was nice as mentionned by others. Finally, the absence of Wifi in the rooms was problematic for us especially since we were on a business trip.

The price per night for our stay was unbelievably priced at €45 for a nights stay in the central Torino. The reception staff were very friendly and courteous. They also very patience with my basic Italian. Helped out where to buy bus tickets and bus stops to use to get to porta nouvo train station although porta Susa is closer , it is yet an easy experience to get public transport.

The location of this 4* hotel appears situated in a residential area of the city and appeared safe and friendly enough.
A high quality stay with a hotel which was fresh new and clean and with an amazing value for money, check prices but with good planning I would highly recommend this hotel . Well done . Great. Danny 29/05/12

Have stated for a weekend at this hotel, was very convenient to go to the Juventus Stadium and only seven minutes by car to city centre. Breakfast Buffett was good, and you have an underlying private garage at an extra cost. The only disappointment no WIFI service in room.

Room Tip: Rooms at the side.

The hotel is very clean, quiet and all the staff members were very polite and helpfull when we needed any help. great location, quiet area but very close to the center of the city and walking distance to all the must seen sightes of Turin. also close to public transportation. The rooms were very comfortable and good beds.

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel. The hotel was clean and quiet, the stuff was very friendly and helpful. The room was good sized, comfortable, clean and well maintained. We were satisfied with the breakfast - everyday the same but no quality problems and wide range of choices (I think nobody can stay hungry). The only disadvantage is the location (but at booking I could look at it on the map so no suprise) - not in the city center and not at the best area of the city. But close to the railway station. In a nutshell I can say that we got good quality for the price we paid for. I can agree that it is more a 3star hotel, than a 4star.

Actually built, it would seem, as a business man's hotel but we as a couple found it just suited our needs.

It is easy to get to, train from the airport to Dora station then a short walk.

The area can be misleading as it is in the process of a massive regeneration. The area was an old Torinese working class district, with factories and wharehouses, but these are now being converted into artists workshops and flats. The hotel complex was obviously allowed planning permission by the council, with the proviso that it helped the regeneration, so there is a public square which is used by the locals, a library behind the hotel, a supermarket and other shops next door.

The neighbourhood is what one would expect from an area in transition, really interesting local bars and restaurants. It is slightly away from the town centre, but frequent buses go from each end of the street, and if you fancy an adventurous walk then on Saturday morning there is a great flea market at the left hand end of the street, and if you continue walking you will find yourself in the sensational Republica, one of the best markets in Europe. For the English it is like the old Covent Garden, Billingsgate and Smithfield, rolled into one, with all sorts of other additions. For my French friends think Les Halles in the late 1950's.

Flowing behind the hotel is the Dora one of Turin's three rivers.

We have been coming to Turin, since 1998, and this has become our favourite hotel in one of our favourite neighbourhoods to explore.

Room Tip: We have never had a bad room.

We came across this hotel deal online, and it turned out to be worth each penny. The hotel feels and looks like a three star hotel more than anything, especially in view of the breakfast and the service provided during the same time. The breakfast buffet does offer a choice, however, it's a limited one. Moreover, the bread was often dry and the juice was only a bottled concentrate, not fresh. Nonetheless, it was enough to satisfy any appetite. Service could have been more attentive - our table was rarely cleared, and as it was a small table we were often left crammed with left over plates and cups. With regard to the accommodation itself, the rooms are fairly sized, regularly cleaned and maintained, and very comfortable. Reception staff, all of whom speak excellent English, were also very helpful and kind. The location can be somewhat of a disadvantage, as it is about 20 minute walk from the city centre.
