Owner description: The Museum is one of the most important of its kind in the world thanks to it vast collection and the many different scientific and educational activities it carries out. But what makes it truly unique is its special exhibit setup. The museum is located inside the Mole Antonelliana, a bizarre and fascinating monument which is the symbol of the City of Torino. And the various areas inside the Mole Antonelliana were the starting point for the Swiss set designer François Confino who, with talent and imagination, multiplied the museum's itineraries. He created a spectacular presentation that offers visitors continuous and unexpected visual and acoustic stimuli, just like when we watch a film that involves and moves us.

This was the first time that we had visited a museum devoted to the cinema and it was fascinating. Well worth a visit. Liked the final bit watching the big screens. Didn't take the lift to the roof so can't comment on that but it looked scary!! (and was probably amazing)!!

I have to say that in every city I go I try to "climb" on the top to see everything! In torino you can do it in la mole! The museum is gorgeous, we took 4 hours to see it all and were 4 hours very well spent!!

I heard good tips about this museum and finally I decided to spend a couple of hours strolling between a huge numbers of prehistoric cinema machines and stuff from Edison and Lumiere brothers to genuine reproductions of recent films (costumes, scenes, tricks, etc...). Price is fair to be surrounded from big screens which showing cult movies all the time.

You can see many things related to the history of the cinema started from the first camera, first movies and the original clothes used in the famous movies.
