Owner description: The Museum is one of the most important of its kind in the world thanks to it vast collection and the many different scientific and educational activities it carries out. But what makes it truly unique is its special exhibit setup. The museum is located inside the Mole Antonelliana, a bizarre and fascinating monument which is the symbol of the City of Torino. And the various areas inside the Mole Antonelliana were the starting point for the Swiss set designer François Confino who, with talent and imagination, multiplied the museum's itineraries. He created a spectacular presentation that offers visitors continuous and unexpected visual and acoustic stimuli, just like when we watch a film that involves and moves us.

I read about this museum on my-piedmont.com and I have longed to visit. Finally I have and it is superb. I am not joking when I say this is near the top of the list of the thousands of museums I have visited in my life. The view from the top of the Mole Antonelliana is one of the best in Turin and you see for miles. Rivers, ancient rooftops, rolling hills and mountain spires...awe inspiring indeed.

Everyone of us from the youngest who is only ten to the oldest who is sixty (nearly) loved it.

“Best cinema museum in Italy”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Located in the most peculiar building of the city, which has been the first capital of cinema in Italy, the museum is excellent for its collection, the atmosphere and the beauty of the Mole Antonelliana. While there, a trip to the panoramic terrace with the glass elevator (the ticket is not included in the visit to the cinema museum) is mandatory if the sky is clear.

“For cinema fans, an extraordinary experience”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Beautiful museum with several great sections. There is a massive movie screen for watching clips that follow a theme (which changes often). There are small rooms that show clips from various genres and are decorated in that genre (eg, a Western room). Then there is a spiral exhibit walk (a la the Guggenheim in New York) with a history of the cinema.

If you love the movies, you'll love the museum.

“Great museum for cinema lovers”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

The building is an amazing piece of historical architecture. The Mole Antonelliana is a reference to this building that houses the museum. The Martin Scorsese exhibit is fascinating. It focuses on his work in films such as "Gangs of New York" and "Aviator" with stars such as Matt Damon and Leonardo DaCaprio.

“Amazing a world class Museum and worth visiting Torino for.”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

We visited the museum for my birthday and it made it! It is so well organised, interesting, interactive and brilliant. We have young kids and we all enjoyed it for three hours. We also had lunch at the cafe which was well priced, delicious, great service and delicious and fresh. The best option for Torino.
