Owner description: The Museum is one of the most important of its kind in the world thanks to it vast collection and the many different scientific and educational activities it carries out. But what makes it truly unique is its special exhibit setup. The museum is located inside the Mole Antonelliana, a bizarre and fascinating monument which is the symbol of the City of Torino. And the various areas inside the Mole Antonelliana were the starting point for the Swiss set designer François Confino who, with talent and imagination, multiplied the museum's itineraries. He created a spectacular presentation that offers visitors continuous and unexpected visual and acoustic stimuli, just like when we watch a film that involves and moves us.

“Most interesting cinema museum in extraordinary building.”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

Thematic "boxes" with flims being screened in interiors reflecting the genre (in a saloon complete with thurned over and broken chairs and tables and smashed bottles, there was a screening of memorable scenes from western movies, for example).

“Wonderful Museum”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

This place was so much more interesting than I thought it would be! If you're a film buff of any kind you will love this place. We tried to rush it in a little over an hour and definitely didn't do the place justice. Allow at least 2 hours, perhaps longer if you want to go up the lift as well.

“Cinema Museum”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

Went to the museum mainly to ride the glass elevator to the top of Mole Antonelliana (where the museum is located) to see all of Turin. While waiting for that to open, I went through the entire museum and was pleasantly suprised at how wonderful and informative it was. I found the historical level of the museum the most interesting. My only complaint is that it is a little confusing on how to get around the museum. Fortunately, there was always someone to ask as to how to get to the next level.

“Don't miss it!”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

While the focus is on Italian cinema, the historical thoroughness is fantastic, and the building is simply unbelievable.
