This is an interesting museum, especially the ballroom that houses the massive paintings of the revolution. However, is was hot in the museum and, although it had tons of items on display, not being able to read or speak Italian left me a little lost in the museum. I paid the fee (yes they make you pay a fee and sign a release that you won't sell your images) to take photographs in the museum. I didn't even take that many pictures and what I did take I'm scared to posts. If you have a lot of time to spare, which I did, then I would recommend going. However, if you are short on time and have to pick and choose carefully where you go, pass on this museum.
