Paying a visit to Basilica di Superga is nice getaway on a clear, preferably sunny day. Going uphill with the vintage funicolare is a cool experience with some great views, but nothing more than that. That's why 6 euros (on weekdays) or 9 euros (on saturday's/holidays) for a return ticket is rather expensive in my opinion. An additional 2 euros (ridotto) or 3 euros allows you to climb to the top of the church from where the views can be quite amazing if you're lucky weather-wise.
