I booked on-line and paid a supplement of two euros . The web site said something like avoid the line , buy on-line . I printed out my voucher , and on arrival rather foolishly , climbed three flights of stairs and went straight to the entrance . I was then told I had to go to the ticket office and swop my printed ticket for a museum ticket . The whole point of booking on.line was to avoid the queues at the ticket office . I paid a supplement , restricted myself to an arrival time , and still had to queue . This is a big con . I am an avid Egyptologist and refused to let this con spoil my visit to an excellent museum ..
