We were a couple visiting daughter who is student in Torino and we had a pleasant stay at Concord Hotel.
Excellent location , almost opposite Porta Nova station but on a good street. Able to walk easily to explore the city centre and river area. Highly recommend the Egyptian Museum and national Film museum also interesting. Lots of fab coffee shops and restaurants. A very cultural, alive and 'real', lived in Italian City, not over run with tourists. Good shopping - no need for Milan but an easy train journey to get there directly from Porta Nova station and a good day trip for a different , more commercial and grand vibe.
Agree with comment about shower. In attempt to provide really good shower head, its position and weight made it quite difficult to use without holding it.
Only 2 pillows for 2 people but when we asked for more, they arrived.
Charming bar tender who appreciated our fatigue and need for refreshment upon arrival.
Female member of reception staff quite grumpy but all males charming and helpful with sense of humour.
Room traditional and very Italian, bed very large and comfortable. Large bathroom.
Lack of hangers in wardrobe.
Useful to have shutters and although our room looked out onto the rather unsightly inner courtyard with rubbish bins, generators etc.,there was no rubbish to be seen. it was clear that the area was kept clean and cared for as much as possible. Have seen MUCH worse in London!
Breakfast sufficiently varied and well cooked. Actually found the scrambled eggs very tasty.
Lots of multi lingual TV channels and WIfi available in rooms. Shame Italians don't provide the otherwise ubiquitous kettle in room. Really missed this.

Personable and practical with some style. Would definitely use again.
Final note : the Australian national Rugby team was arriving as we left, so can't be that bad!!

Room Tip: If you want more of a street view avoid the inner courtyard rooms. Ask or stipulate when booking. I...

Unfortunately due to a delayed flight arrived very late. The staff were welcoming and helpful despite the late hour. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Slight criticism of en suite was shower was on side wall of bath as opposed to on the end.
Buffet style breakfast with a good choice in a nice room. Good hotel would not hesitate to use again with hopefully next time a bit more time to explore the area.

We loved this hotel. The staff was delightful. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had a great variety of food both cold and hot! The location was perfect for our all of the sights and places we wanted to visit in Tourin.

Service on check in: surly to the point of rude. Not a good start. Room cramped. Bathroom adequate. Decor: dark and dingy. Phone in room .... no indication of how to contact reception, which I did but coudn't. No room service offered. No functioning aircon. No curtains, so had to use shuuters, then open for ventillation meaning privacy was compromised. Breakfast poor. Scrambled eggs that might have bounced. Awful bread rolls. Long queues merely to get a cup of coffee. Juices poor. Fresh fruit limited. All in all, not much to recommend it. Avoid

Only stayed one night but very pleased with all services. Had a very nice, large, very clean room. Beds very comfortable , very nice linens. Pillows not our preference, very slim, didn't bother asking for another. Parking is easy to access around the corner. Location of hotel is very good access to main shopping area. For picking a room, as for a low number, our room was about as far from the elevator as you can get. It's a square black hotel but doesn't make a full loop in the hallways. Over all very good hotel.

Room Tip: Low number on each floor

Stayed in this very good 4 star hotel. Position cannot be faulted. It is in walking distance from the airport bus, but in a different, mush more salubrious part of town. In fact it is on the best street, at the beginning of a long pedestrianised street, full of cafes and high class shops. Some of the attractions are in walking distance too. Hotel has an impressive foyer and restaurant and with the exception of the rather poor toiletries provided, well up to its 4 star standard. Staff was always friendly and helpful. By the way, some of the museums in town are just out of this world. Turin is a wonderful find.

Room Tip: Dont stay on the 5th floor. Room was not bad but it was in the loft.

The Concord hotel is a good place to stay in Turin. It is really convinient to reach with public transportation as it is 500 m from the main station (Porta Nova) and nearly directly in the center of Turin (the pedestrian zone starts not even 200 m from it).

The room was really good: good bed, well equiped, good bathroom, quiet (despite the central position). So nothing to complain about.
The breakfast is a relieve when compared to the Italian average.

The staff is well trained, discrete and if put in corner, used to use humor and smiles to get out of it
