“Perfect place to stay in Torino”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2012

I and my wife stayed 3 nights in a corner junior suite at this hotel in mid-November. The view from the room was very good. Location is perfect - just right in the center of town in a walking distance to all the sights. Room and bathroom are spotless. It is a very good value making the booking from the website of the hotel. Breakfast is more than adequate. Service at breakfast is okay. We didn't use the spa and the other services there. I would certainly consider staying at this hotel in the future.

Room Tip: Corner junior suites at higher levels have good views

Spent three nights in connection with the Artissima art fair. Superb location with all the shopping right outside the hotel and only about 1km from the river (great for running). Nicely decorated and the room was perfect. Excellent bar in the reception area for a late afternoon drink and a good breakfast buffet. Nice gym and spa in the basement, although the pool could be a bit warmer to make it perfect. I can warmly recommend this hotel to couples going for a weekend.

Beautiful hotel conveniently situated for the centre of Turin for all the major sights and shopping. Comfortable elegant rooms with excellent housekeeping. Nice bar in which to relax in the evenings with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Reception helpful and efficient. Breakfast excellent with good choice and friendly service. Would not hesitate to stay here again as it provided us with everything that we want from a city hotel.

The first thing you need to now about Italian hotel ratings, is you lop off one star. So if it says five, it means four.

The hotel was central, friendly, lovely art deco room design, lovely bathrooms and a superb cocktail bar with a head waiter straight out of central casting.

However, the detail was rubbish.

25 euros a day for(unreliable) wifi. In this day and age??? No bathrobes, unless you requested them, and they were ooooold and threadbare.

One salt cellar for the entire restaurant and breakfast (!!!!!!) and food that managed to get to OK, but no better.
The Spa was well designed, but the gym wasn't thought through (oh for just one swiss ball!). And the steam room and sauna was the cold side of tepid.

I'd stay again, but......They need to stop pinching the pennies adjoin the 21st century

Ideally located hotel in central Turin and very close to public transport. Spacious, nice, modern and clean room. Good service all around. Definitely one of the best hotels in Turin, if not the best. We haven't tried the spa, but it looked great. If you want some luxury for your stay in Turin, this is the hotel to book.

The hotel is well placed as a base to tour Turin. The rooms are generous and the bathroom is also large with both shower and bath. The hotel has been renovated in an art deco style and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and courteous. If arriving from the Turin Airport take the bus, remember to get a ticket from the Tabac in the terminal before boarding the bus. While this is a scheduled bus service it termiinates at the Turino Porto Nuovo railway station. The hotel is in walking distance from the station along the Via Roma. Many of Turin attractions are also within walking distance. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. There are a number of restaurants and Trattoria near by. The hotel does charge for Wi-Fi service.

Its remiss of me for not writing my review sooner but having just returned from Turin and having had a dreadful experience at another so called 5 star hotel, I felt I must congratulate the Piemonte Hotel on being the ONLY true 5 star hotel in Turin. It is 12 months since I stayed there but I can vouch for the fact that this hotel ticks the box when it comes to location, grandeur and service. Whether on business or pleasure the Piemonte is the best. It is also located right in the heart of the city, which makes it the perfect location for shopping and sightseeing.
Unfortunately on this latest trip to Turin my business colleagues booked me in a different hotel but on my next visit I will be making my own arrangements and there will only be one hotel on my list.
