Loved this hotel - one of the top three I have ever stayed in. We had a beautiful suite with a view over the roofs and on to the hills surrounding the city. The spa and pool are first-class and a great way to work out the kinks from so much travel. Our room was so beautiful that we actually considered just staying in for the evening and dining on room service. Bathroom was as big as a New York City apartment. Location is convenient to all sights and many fine restaurants.

Room Tip: ask for a room on the rear of the hotel and above the roof-line of the surrounding buldings (for the...

We stayed here, interrupting a skiing holiday, to celebrate my wife's birthday. A wonderful hotel with excellent facilities. The room, more like a mini suite, was spacious, modern and well appointed with a very, very comfortable bed and a super bathroom containing a supersize bath. The view from our room over the rooftops of the city with the Alps in the distance was interesting and breathtaking.
This hotel is very well positioned to walk anywhere and explore the wonderful city of Turin and even the personal buffoonery that left me totally confused by the municipal parking facility (the hotel does have a car park and if they offer to park your car for you; accept the offer) provided it's own brand of entertainment.
The staff here were all wonderfully helpful and I could quite easily have sat all day enjoying the breakfast buffet we had on the Sunday morning, alas the generosity of the hotel did not stretch quite that far.
All in all we had a great time in a fabulous hotel that did offer excellent value for money. Will definitely return.

We stayed 2 nights on our first visit to Turin. The hotel is very central for the city, and within easy walking distance of most of the major attractions. We arrived by rail and only had a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The staff were very efficient and helpful throughout. The room, a junior suite, was very large and well equipped, with beautiful views over the roof tops to the surrounding hills. The down sides were that food was very expensive so we didn't eat there as there are many good less expensive restaurants in Turin, and we had to pay for wifi. At £140 per night for the room, I think that should be included. However, overall it is an excellent hotel and we will stay there in future.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times on business travel. The hotel is nice and the rooms are great. The hotel, however, has the audacity to charge 25 Euros for the wireless Internet. And, the wireless internet does not work in all the rooms. Good greif! How can you charge that amount of money for the internet and then not provide a strong signal in all the rooms. The worst part is that the staff was not honest. The staff will tell you that the hotel is fully booked and that is causing the weak internet signal -- this is a lie. The internet wifi signal comes from the basement level and the signal is very weak in rooms above the second floor.

You should also bring your own iron if you need to iron your clothes. No irons in the room. But the front desk will be happy to iron your clothes for a fee!

As a business traveller these little things are very irritating.

Rooms are large and nicely furnished, with beautiful marble bathrooms that, in common with the rest of the accommodation, are very well equipped and spotlessly cleaned. The décor is modern and yet stylish, lavished in both real and hardwood-effect surfaces of well-chosen complementary shades. We were on the fourth floor and had lovely views of the city, including the huge and elegantly arched façade of the railway station, Porta Nuova. Our breakfast was included in the price and incorporated a very good range of dishes to suit a wide variety of tastes, served by very attentive and pleasant staff. It was both bountiful and well prepared. The gentleman on the reception desk was also extremely helpful in recommending a local supermarket. Although there is no free WiFi access, you can purchase time on the hotel’s network and it is not expensive. Our stay was not without its problems, however. Although the lobby area and breakfast room were at a very comfortable temperature, as soon as we entered our room it was obvious that the fan for the air conditioning unit did not work, so the cold air did not circulate in the room. In fact, there was simply no cold air. It was the kind of situation in which we were tempted to ask “Is the heating on in here?” We asked twice for someone to attend to it and eventually a gentleman came up. He confirmed what we thought and said that he would “go and ask”. Nothing happened and for three nights we tried in vain to sleep in the heat – an impossible task for British people! The hotel was only half-full or even less than that, owing to our stay being in August when the majority of Italian families are themselves away on holiday, and so it would not have been difficult to transfer us. Despite this, I would still recommend this hotel. Just insist on a properly air-conditioned room.

Room Tip: Insist on testing the air conditioning before you unpack.

We stayed here in July 2012 as part of our 2 week European adventure.
We loved:
- The location - perfectly situated for the centre of town, all attractions and the station
- Feeling of grandeur and opulence as soon as you enter the hotel - definitely the top choice in Turin!
- Our room was stunning – we were delighted to be upgraded to a high corner suite, which was divided into a large bedroom and a living room (almost the size of mine at home!).
- Strawberries and cream in-room arrival treats….. yum!
- Beautiful marble bathroom
- Tasty and plentiful breakfast, everything from scrambled eggs & bacon to fresh fruits and pastries– definitely the best of our whole trip!
- Didn’t use it, but checked out the pool which looked good
- Car park at a cost but well run and looked after our car nicely

We didn’t love:
- Actually we loved everything!

The hotel rooms and lobby are very tastefully decorated. The pictures on the website are accurate. The marble bathrooms and the views from the room on the 7th floor added to a memorable stay. However the walls are very thin and I could hear the neighbours' TV. Dust had not been removed from many areas. The bathroom products were not refilled every day. The breakfast buffet was like eating in a canteen, with cold coffee served and very low quality products compared to my breakfast experience at the Sitea in Torino. I am not sure I would go back.
