I have been there this evening. We appreciated a lot of kindness and the nice environment. Maltagliati con astice were superb, cassata sicialiana was very good (I really suggest to all) and I really appreciate also the zabaglione caldo (prepared in front of us....!).
We will go back again: high value.

Thank Filippo Z

We were guests of business associates for lunch at Osteria La Cena Coi Fiocchi. The local is rather small, quaintly decorated and has extremely attentive service. This is dining in true Osteria style, featuring home-cooked, hearty meals. We left the meal selection up to the hostess as is often done in Italian dining. Usually the hostess will bring the best items the kitchen has to offer.

We started with a small antipasto of salami, pearl onions and raw cucumbers. This was followed by short pasta noodles prepared with a smooth mixed vegetable sauce. After that came a curry beef stew served with side dishes of mashed potatoes and sautéed greens. The curry sauce was very delicious and the potatoes were utilized to efficiently clean the gravy off of our plates. Dessert was a panna cotta with a raspberry compote, followed by a fresh fruit salad drizzled with Gran Marnier liquor.

I high highly recommend this osteria. It is off the beaten track and if you are new to town, I recommend a taxi bring you there.
