“Another joke hotel of Ibis Accor”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2012

I stayed two days in this hotel, I cant tell you that I freaked out when I saw some things. The first problem is only for those who go by car. The parking is a little area on a square in the next corner, what means that you leave the car on the street. Funny for a hotel which is supposed to have 4 stars. If you comment this on recepction they give you another option to leave the car in a Repair car garage which is handed by a local man paying 20 euros per day and you must give him your car key to this person till you leave. I can tell you this is the most funny thing I've ever seen in a four stars hotel yep. The hotel is and old one which has been remodeled, the room is ok, the toilet is good, new and with a good shower. The bed is very confortable too. But here it is the second one. A trollebus goes through the street of the hotel causing a lot of noise, and is working during the night. The windows of the hotel are old, have not been changed, so you will be hearing the noise and will not able to sleep properly. As you will see, everyone is waking up early in the hotel and is having breakfast at seven, imagine why. the brakfast is just ok not enough for a four stars hotel, actually being honest this hotel is closer than two stars instead of four star. But in Italy is not strange to find things like that. Never saw the swimmin pool there ouch ouch. If you go by car study the options.

Room Tip: Rooms who have windows to the forefront street are impossible to sleep. do not forget my tip about...

Was pleasantly surprised when arriving at the lobby, stylish and welcoming, not expected from a budget hotel. Helpful and friendly reception staff but room was pretty appalling, tiny beds, faulty air con contributed to sweaty nights sleep, tiny shower with no curtain, no plug sockets to charge phone etc. Served a purpose but would consider options before booking especially in summer where I imagine it would be very uncomfortable. Good location.

I was on business trip in Turin and this hotel was one of the few available ones, due to a major event in the city. If you wish to find the hotel, you have to look for Astoria Hotel, since this is the old name and nobody has yet changed the sign at the entrance. It is in an old building which has never been refurbished, so the elevator is very very slow, but that´s not the main issue. Rooms are small and have NO wardrobe, NO table, NO chair. The only curtains are very thick, so either you have no daylight or you are seen by everyone outside.
A colleague of mine in a neighbouring room didn´t even have hot water!!!
The only good point, if any, is the convenient location, close to the city centre and the train station.

Stayed for 2 nights on 15 & 16 August 2012. The hotel is signposted as the Astoria, so can be difficult to find. It is in a good location for the sites and is reasonably priced. Staff are helpful and friendly, but seem in short supply. The hotel has some disadvantages. We were given a twin en-suite room, as requested. It was clean, on the 5th floor and accessed by a vintage lift. Unfortunately, the air conditioning grumbled and coughed all night which made it difficult to sleep. On the first day of our stay the breakfast was tolereable. However, on the second day, the rolls were wooden; fruit juices were diluted and unbearably sweet; the Nestles coffee machine broke down. I try to be positive and would describe All Seasons as good value for the price. It is an old, rather bourgeois building with veined marble floors and pillars. A make-over would be in order, instead of the ubiquitous purple paint used to jazz it up. The All Seasons is in the process of being rebranded as an Ibis All Seasons. In its present form I don't think it will improve the general standard of the Ibis brand.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a functioning air conditioning unit and avoid the 5th floor

I found this hotel exception value for money. Yes, the rooms are a little tired and the air conditioning is one of those box-on-the-wall types making it noisier than central types (but no noisier than similar units found in so many hotels) but at €45 per night on a pre-paid offer it was a bargain. My room was relatively spacious with a double bed and plenty of spare room as well as free reliable Wi-Fi. Breakfast (included) was continental with the addition of scrambled egg and bacon. Free coffee and water is also available in reception all day.

The hotel is very centrally located. For us it was not difficult to find and wonder how others could miss a 57 room hotel. Parking may be a problem but it is free on the surrounding roads after 8pm and all day Sundays.

The most frustrating thing about the hotel was the lift which is an old fashioned wrought iron type on a par with something out of 'Thoroughly Modern Millie'. Regrettably, no amount of dancing on the floor could improve its performance and this must surely be a candidate for the slowest lift in Turin.

The hotel is very well situated , near the shops and the tourist attractions.Rooms are clean but need refurbishment. It all looks much better on the photos.
Breakfast is not replenished, so when you arrive a bit late, the choice is limited.
Not a hotel I would recommend to friends or what we are used to of the Accor - group.

This hotel located not far from Porta Nuova Railway Station. The receptionist was very helpful on giving us directions. I'm glad that the bathroom was very clean since the outside look of the hotel was quite old. The corridor definitely needs more lightning. The breakfast was ok consider they only have one staff to handle it. And love the vintage espresso machine that they put in their lounge.
