I originally planned to stay in Torino for 3 days, but this hotel treated me so nicely that I ended up booking for 3 more nights.
First I chose it for its location, a few steps away from Porta Susa train station, which is newer and nicer than Porta Nuova station. As for the historical center, from the hotel you can easily access all places that are worth a visit, just strolling right through the avenue will lead you to different places. Quadrilatero Romano, Museo Egipizio, Molle Antonelliana, Piazza Castello, Corso Vittorio Emmanuelle II... everything can be seen walking, if you have the energy.
The individual room I booked was spacious enough for one, and had all the amenities that I needed. Maybe the Wi-Fi reception wasn't the best, but it was allright. Very comfortable bed and linen, great desk, shower, etc. Everything worked and was well-kept, even if the furniture was not cutting-edge new.
Breakfast was fullfilling, the croissants were great, and there was always fresh fruit available. They could use real orange juice though, that would make a big difference.
But what I really liked about this hotel was its staff, very attentive and helpful, very welcoming and they just gave me great advice on what places to see. They also had no problem in extending my booking for more days at the same rate that I had found online, as a last minute offer.
All in all it was a great experience and I really hope to come back!
