I'm sorry to have to say this, but this place did not cut it. The room was like a shabby yellow box with windows looking out on a brick wall and some scaffolding. The feel of the place was as if they chose the very cheapest products they could for the hotel: the saddest, cheapest toiletries in tiny, hard-to-open packets, and at breakfast it was if they went to the bargain basement and bought the cheapest possible products to give guests. Even the fruit was second-rate: mushy apple, orange that tasted like it was starting to ferment. The breakfast room was staffed by one very overworked woman who was struggling to keep up with the number of guests in her charge. Both days I had to go to the bar to seek out coffee, and the second day, the man making the coffee was so busy that he actually waved me away when I tried to order coffee. Really pretty bad. The people were friendly (except for the coffee guy) but the hotel is just not worth what they charged, in comparison to other places. Staying here cast a shadow on the first two days of my otherwise nice vacation in Italy. My other hotels were fine.
