Convenient, with metro stop at the corner, walking distance to city center ( about one kilometer), with very good restaurants within blocks. Modern amenities with old world charm and impeccable service. Intricate mosaic floors, crystal chandeliers, tall ceilings. A family-run inn/ hotel with a proprietor who could have come out of central casting for the BBC, kindly and smiling. The younger generations of the family speak excellent English and provide fantastic recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. Lovely breakfast served in a sunny old world breakfast room. A private courtyard for parking at10 euros per night. We travel widely in the world and would put this experience right up there with the very best. If there were one slight negative it would be the tiny shower which of course is standard for this part of the world.

A very nice early 20th century house, originally built for a local noble family and transformed into a hotel a few decades ago. The family that owns and runs the place is pleasant and always ready to help, rooms are huge, much of the original grandeur has been kept. The hotel has a few car park spaces (not too expensive : €10 for 24hrs) and is located 50m from a metro station, so strolling into the city centre is very easy. VEry quiet environment as it is located on a back street. My usual place of stay in Turin !

This is a gem of a place ! Apart from the introduction of wifi I suspect nothing has changed in fifty years. The hotel is in a lovely old building in a quiet street two minutes from the metro. It is surrounded by similar streets full of Art Nouveau architecture. The rooms are spacious and elegant though a bit faded at the edges. The dining room is luxurious in a down-at-heel way with a beautiful high cieling and stained glass windows.A real step back in time !

It's ten minute walk to Porta Sousa train station from where we took a train to Paris.

Room Tip: We were on the (raised) ground floor overlooking the street. A room on the first floor overlooking the garden must be lovely.
