“Authentic local fare”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

From Via Roma it is a 10 minute stroll along Via Principe Amedeo, or 15 minutes on foot from the central station. The ambiance was lovely, the lady owner was ever so patient in explaining the Italian-only menu to us and everyone was genuinely friendly.

Take advantage of their set menus which were priced at 19, 22 and 26 euros respectively depending on how hungry you are. We found the 19 euro set far exceeded our expectations, simple, fresh and tasty local fare although admittedly the desert was a letdown.

Book ahead - it's small and popular amongst the locals.

This is a wonderful restaurant. Nice ambiance, food and prices. I had the good fortune of joining a small group of friends for dinner, and totally enjoyed the experience.

“Excellent trattoria”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2012

This is an excellent trattoria where you can try typical Piemontese and French cuisine. The selection is great and you can find traditional food as well as personal creation of the chef like the "fujot fol", everything written on a little chalkboard delivered to your table.
The place is small and simple but very cosy with small tables and a warm ambiance resembling a french bistrot, it is good either for couples and groups of friends.
Value is top, you can have a 3 course dinner with wine for around 35€. If you are in the mood of casual dining and great food don't miss it, better to book during or close to weekends.
