“Small and friendly. Don't miss it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012

Popped in for a drink and had a lovely time. Stayed for some food and lovely wine. Very helpful and friendly staff. Don't get ripped off by the lake front restaurants, enjoy this little oasis one or two streets back.

“Great little wine bar off the beaten track”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2012

This is a great little place if you want something simple and a nice glass of wine. Situated in a wonderful little ancient room, with wine bottles lining the walls, there are just a few tables inside and out and several choices written on a board. We had the cheese and salami plate with our glasses of Arneis wine after enjoying a stroll around this lovely little village.

“A real find in the heart of Orta old town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2012 via mobile

Serving a very small selection of daily dishes which highlight the best in local produce. Most dishes are prepared from behind the small bar which includes excellent salami and cheeses. With great rustic ambiance you, are surrounded by 100's of bottles of Italian wine from which you can browse and select. They are all reasonably priced and some quite unusual. Staff during our visit where very friendly and helped us have a great evening. Highly recommended.

“very good and wonderful atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2012

A wee bar in a remote street close to the main square. Good atmosphere, simple but nice food, a large choice of Italian wines and very easy to have a chat with your neighbour tables. Multi lingual and pleasant waiters careful to your needs. Will meet your expectations if you step in early enough to get a seat!
