Description: A jewel in the heart of Brera with a long tradition: the Nabucco Restaurant offers a perfect setting for important evenings. delicate tones of its halls, international staff, the kitchen linked to the Italian tradition and an excellent wine list have made it a landmark of Milanese restaurant, both for those who resides in Milan for foreign guests. The fresh pastas, freshly baked bread, the now legendary pumpkin flowers enliven the evenings of our guests in an elegant and traditional, that with the different types of spaces can satisfy any kind of need: a boardroom for important occasions, a collection room for meetings to two and a tavern for groups of friends or for corporate events. Do not miss the precious terrace overlooking the bustling Via Fiori Chiari, for a special occasion.

Ate here on Feb. 16, 2013 as it was recommended. The place had classic Italian decor, great service and good food. Had the Eggplant Parmesan for starters (12 euros), then Lasagne Bolognese (11 euros) and Gnocchi Sorrentina (10 euros). Glass of house merlot was 6 euros and bottle of fizzy water was 3 euros. The bread was at least a day old and cold.Very small coffees were 3 euros each. The portion sizes were OK and they charged 3 euros a piece for "coperto" and 10% tip which I don't think is too smart as I usually leave 20% but I left only 10% this time because they charged it. Felt a little nickle and dimed as usually all these charges are included in the price. Probably would not go back.

Our family went here for a very nice New Year's Eve meal. To start with, the street setting is lovely with lights that make the whole entry very pretty.

The restaurant itself is divided up into several small rooms which make the experience quite intimate, like being invited to a family dinner. The welcome was warm and friendly and we felt quite appreciated.

The menu is quite small, but has a lot of unique items. Several of us had a beef filet which was well prepared and tender. The seafood items were also quite good. I had an unusual octopus item that was very nice.

My teenagers were a little put off by some of the unusual items, but that was more their problem than the menu.

My only negative was that the music was kind of loud and intrusive. We actually asked to turn it down and that did make it better, but still was a detraction.

Seating: Made a reservation and got a warm greeting at the door. We were seated in the front dining area which is properly the best section. The restaurant has seating outdoors and inside at the back and even along the walkway to the back. However here, I noticed it does not offer much privacy. The walls resonate your conversation.
Food: Good variety of local Italian cuisine. Liked the pasta although I prefer mine to be spicier. The dessert was great - must try the Panna Cotta! As well, ask for their homemade Balsamic to go with your bread.
Price: $$$ with a bottle of Cab Sav wine for 4 pax.

We arrived to this lovely restaurant and the kind personnel immediately welcomed us with a bottle of sparkling to make our arrival a pleasant one. The service was very friendly and the food quality and taste was excellent. This is the place to go to if you need a guaranteed satisfaction what comes to the food, drinks, environment and service. Definitely a restaurant to visit again!

Four of us on a 'Milan culture&shopping trip' went to the Nabucco for a meal. We hadn't booked beforehand so could not complain that we did not get one of the best tables in the front section of the restaurant. So: booking is recommended. Sitting outside must be fun but on our night it was raining. The waiters were friendly and most importantly, we all enjoyed our food. The Osso Buco was super and so was the grilled fish. The wine was good and not extravagantly expensive. The Brera District in which the restaurant is situated is well worth a visit in its own right. (The famous Pinacoteca is nearby!)
