Description: Luciano Pignataro about us....: "The cliché is a point where you have to necessarily regardless to read these lines and be able to appreciate the truth. Imagine a risotteria in the center of Milan. You might answer, rightly, that is merely stating the obvious. Sure! If it were not for the small detail that makes the difference, ie, the management of the whole Neapolitan above risotteria. Also try to think of a different way to cook the pizza, all-new, completely new, grilled. Are you there? That pizza you would find in the same risotteria above, a short walk from the Duomo. In the same room you could pick you want meat? You would find that, too, in denominations of excellent quality, displayed in a refrigerated as the butcher, exhibited as trophies in their bewildering freschezza.Siamo by Brace and rice dishes to bulk, a friendly and cheerful place, open only two weeks ago, in the rich and overwhelming Milan to drink and, I would say, even to eat. With views of the spiers of the Duomo, close to the most important roads of fashion and high society ambrogine, offices and monuments, it comes from the Naples seafront a whole new way of conceiving the risotto, offering it to its most regular consumers. There's something for all tastes and of various types, thirty! Sea and land, simple or more sophisticated, such as rice Venus with pumpkin and sausage, or brown rice with vodka, shrimp and melon. But the real news is definitely the pizza cooked on the grill and served on a rustic wooden cutting board. Smaller than the classic Neapolitan, it is delicious and taste very special, that reveals itself slowly on the palate thanks to a mix which hides a secret ingredient in most, which makes it unique. The ingredients are all fresh and of good quality, surprisingly Neapolitans to be so close to the Madonnina. It 'time for lunch when I decide to sit down to eat, the place is full and someone still waiting outside. The atmosphere is relaxed, even if they are surrounded by men in suits. It will be because of the hilarious railings with pots of flowers hanging neatly, or colored shelves on which are pinned skillfully bottles, or maybe it's about the polite and friendly staff. Also excellent sweet in its simplicity brought me back with the mind and taste sapori.dell'infanzia. I get hit by happiness of the chefs in the kitchen, from their curious eyes looking for confirmation of their work. Not surprisingly, nothing in a world where globalization is everywhere, and yet, it remains stunned thinking that the best innovations come from tradition and ability, sometimes brilliant, to break the mold. It will be a case that returning with the subway I see a billboard wink from the face of the well-known chef Cannavacciuolo to advertise gorgonzola ?"

While wandering Milan, stopped for lunch to kill some time until our room was ready. The risotto was perfectly cooked and pizza was delicious. The servers were very friendly and all food was fresh, hot, and brought out promptly.

Excellent risotto and a hearty serving size. But, we noticed that the Italians eating here had bread brought to them automatically even though we never received bread. After asking, the waiter brought us some, but this rubbed me the wrong way.

We had dinner here after early evening arrival in Milan - close to our accommodation. Modern décor, service was good. Our culinary aspirations were not very high after a tiring day's travel, but we had a very satisfactory meal. The black squid ink risotto was rich and tasty, and their fries were first rate.
