Just a day trip for me and my girl, who has been to Milan Malpensa several times as cabin crew.
She wanted to take her mum there as she too was impressed.
The owner welcomed us before we’d even got inside.
She showed us to a table as the outside tables where all taken.
We didn’t have to wait long and was offered the menu.
We both had pizzas and lovely glass of wine.
The pizzas where freshly made and nice and hot. (The plate were hot as well, not keen on hot pizzas on cold plates)
The wine was nice and cool. As well as that we had a glass of prosecco
Both glass where €4 each. All in all we spent €32.
If you get the chance I highly recommend this place to eat.

Il Priscio is a small Panzerotteria just 2 minutes walking from Piazza del Duomo. It's just far enough away to get rid of all the noise and hassle from the tourists so you can have a quiet lunchbreak. The proprietor was very friendly, spoke English very well and gave us some good recommendations on what panzarotto to take, which cooking method (fried/oven) and what kind of dough. Also we received some focaccia on the house during our wait for the food.
Our expectations for the panzarotti (which are typical for Milano) were high, especially because of the reviews on TA, but our lunch was really delicious and completely lived up to the expectations.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a good value-for-money.

Stopped by for lunch. The focaccia was wonderful. Service was excellent and not a lot of tourists. Fast service too. Highly recommended.

A small restaurant/café close the cathedral, fair pricing and tasty Italian pizza. One one person knew English, but it was alright. Possibility to sit outside in a quite street. Nothing fancy, but food was good and we avoided crowded over priced restaurants by the cathedral.
