Don't know your budget, but 27 euros for a cotoletta (plus 4 for water plus service) it could be high price for someone! In any case, when i tried it i thought it was ALL RIGHT, it was just the BEST cotoletta i ever tried. Not that i order this dish very often, but it' s just amazing! La libera, indeed, is very famous for this speciality. You must try it. The tartare and the chicken were nothing special.

We had dinner at La Libera after the Theatre therefore was really late but still full of people! The atmosphere is nice, food is creative and has a quite large choice for all tastes and overall very good (never disappointing) and great value for price. Waiters are friendly. A place to recommend.

La libera's warm interiors are vintage and stylish, making it a perfect spot for dinners with the people you care the most. The menu is simple, yet interesting. The service does not excel, but does not disappoint. The quality of food is in line with the level of the restaurant.
Recommended, especially for couples

I have eaten here many times with my family and we have always had an excellent meal. The wait staff speaks some English and they are very nice. I recommend making a reservation or get there on the early side (8 pm) if not. This is also a great place to take people from out of town or business associates. Order the Costaletta. It's the best in Milan.

Located in a corner of Corso Garibaldi is an historic one in Milan. Retrò decored, table are too close and a little bit noisy. As appetizer zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta and mint, had to be hot but were cold, as a main dish a roast cockerel with potatoes to the oven, the cockerel was hard as a rock, fresh pasta with sausage and radicchio, not bad but the sauce was very liquid, as dessert sweet pancakes with chestnut cream, good. With half a liter of house white wine, a liter of mineral water the bill was 78 euros, a bit pricey. Good service
