This small restaurant had very good service and excellent food. The quality of the ingredients and preparation was a wonderful experience. The price was reasonable, and the location of the restuarant was near the center of Milano. I will definitely go back the next time I visit Milan.

Very good roman restaurant near the city centre. Noisy and lively atmosphere, froendly staff an quick service. Food is staple roman cuisine, great as a place to with friends or colleagues, you must havea reservation whatever the day. Also good for lunch.

We had a big dinner in this restaurant with 15 people. We were sitting in a room behind the main intrance. The wooden table was very large and it was difficult to speak to people in front of you. We had a common menu composed of antipasti and primi. The selection of antipasti was excellent. Very tasty. Then we were served 9 big plates of 3 different kinds of pasta. They were really good but it was too much. We could hardly appreciate the last pasta because we were already full. According to me, il vino della casa (house wine) wasn't good. We paid a decent price (25€ each).
But some friends told me the best time to try this place is for lunch. For 10 euros you get primo+secondo+wine+water+cofee. It sounds to be a good deal!

i have come here a few times, always at lunch, because this is where the biggest value comes around. This is a lovely little restaurant tucked away in a small street behind Porta Romana.
Curiously, the cousin is "Romana" too, offering the traditional dishes of the capital.
You should have the classics, Amatriciana, Cacio e Pepe, the Carciofi alla giudea (artichokes) but whatever you will get it will be nice, usually fast, and accompanied by a lovely small trattoria feeling and served by cordial waiters.
the 10 euro lunch deal (with wine..) is may be the best value in town, but also the evenings won't be nasty with your wallet.

Recommended.

Many of the traditional plates of Roman cuisine (bucatini all'amatriciana, cacio e pepe) and a light salad of puntarelle, all accompanied with their house red, made for a wonderfully relaxing evening. It has expanded greatly (room-wise) from its humble one room beginnings, but the staff is still friendly and attentive.
