We had a lovely 5 night stay in Milan, attending a conference at Milano Congressi. As others have stated the apartment is very close to the Central Station, there are a few little supermarkets and specialty food stores in the area to buy produce, and very close to a Metro station (Sondrio). All the shop owners were helpful and were very kind about our limited Italian language, Yes, the bathroom and kitchen are quite small, but not an issue at all, as everything works well!
The apartment was perfect for a couple, and the bottle of wine was a lovely surprise. Thank you Luca.
Very nice place and very convenient for going anywhere in Milan..its private yet central. The host was very accommodating and has let us Check in early and helped us with our luggage and has surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine ☺
My husband and I moved to Italy at the beginning of Feb and while we were hunting for a long-term flat, we rented Luca's place for one month. Having arrived at Centrale station, it was a very short walk and easy to find as Luca advised us to look for the cafe right next to the building.
The location was a perfect hub for us, easy for my husband to commute and very easy for us to travel to view properties for longer term. Duomo is a short train ride away so it feels like you're staying in the heart of the city without too much noise and while feeling very safe.
The flat itself was well equipped with kitchen utensils and cleaning products. The wifi provided also had a good, strong connection which was extremely helpful as I was working from home.
Luca was only a message/phone call away if we had any problems but luckily, we didn't! Would definitely recommend this place for a short or long stay.
If you are planning a trip to Milan, I would strongly recommend you this nice appartment, a block and a half away from Milano Centrale train station, 2 subway station from Milano Garibaldi. It has every commodities within a two minute walk : bakery, butchery/charcuterie/cheese store, a local supermarket, even a drugstore in case of need...
The apartment itself is nice, it doesn't take long to warm up once the heater started (you'll definitely appreciate it in winter), the bed is very comfortable, the sofa as well, and the garden is really nice to chill out.
Eventually, the owner Luca is really caring and fast to answer your mail when needed.
A good place to go in vacation, really worth the price asked.
The apartment was great for our family of three. It even accommodated four of us for one or two nights with my daughter, who was working in Milan, staying over. It is conveniently located to Statzione Centrale which puts you within easy walking distance of trains, subways, and trams. The neighborhood is a bit gritty, but interesting and safe. Yet the apartment, which is on the other side of the central courtyard of the apartment block, is quiet and comfortable. And the little patio area is lovely, but given the weather in November, we only looked out at it. Mario, next door at the Why Not Cafe, is a blast and our thirteen year old looked forward to going out in the morning to procure pastry and coffee from him. Luca was a good host and I would do it again. Thanks, Luca.
Located within one and a half blocks of the central railway station this is an excellent place to utilize all forms of public transportation including an 8 Euro shuttle to Malpensa airport. The apartment is very comfortable with its own enclosed courtyard. Luca, the owner, is very responsive to visitors needs; we had a problem with the DVD player that was rectified almost immediately. We were very pleased with the overall rental.
This is a high ceiling, clean and closing to central station apartment. It is very convenient to tour the city and taking the train to nearby Lake Como. Luca is very friendly and helpful to answer the questions. On the day we arrived, his partner was waiting for us to show us the apartment. We will stay here again if we come back to Milan.
