Let me start with what the restaurant is NOT - it is not a winning choice for a first romantic date. 1970’s decor, old ladies with Nokia non-smart mobile phones, and so on...
However, the food is VERY good and outstanding value for money. The kind of dream place for Lonely Planet clientèle or anyone on a budget.
An example: lunch menu. Primi - a choice of three pasta dishes (and large portions). Secondi - choice between caprese, bistecca or scaloppine. Contorni - choice between salad, potatoes or fagiolini. Add 1/4 of wine, 1/2 water and coffee. ALL of this for 10 euros.
I did not try the pizza, but other reviewers are raving about it. A la carte from 4-6 euros. And eight choices offered as a lunch menu (see above) with the beverages, again for 10 euros.
