My husband and I stayed for 18 nights at this apartment and it suited our needs well. Marcella picked us up at Milan's central train station upon our arrival ( or about a 20 minute walk from the apartment), "introduced" us to the apartment, and then drove us on a short tour of the neighborhood, dropping us off at a large Esselunga supermaket. (A Tigros supermarket is also within walking distance.)
The apartment is located within a gated complex and felt very safe. It is on the first floor (about 30 steps) with windows on three sides so it is quite bright and cheery. It has a small, private balcony overlooking the central courtyard with nice trees and shrubs (although we had to drag chairs and tables from the living room if we wanted to sit on the terrace which we did on many evenings.)
The living/dining room is a decent size as is the bedroom (which also has a small seating area with an armchair.) The kitchen is exremely small, however, hardly big enough for one person. There is a stove, oven, toaster (no microwave) and a fairly large fridge with a freezer that doesn't close properly and creates lots of frost. The bathroom (with a shower in the tub) is also a decent size and contains a small washing machine which was very handy.
The apartment is located about three blocks from the handy Zara Metro station which goes to the central station and the Piazza Duomo. All in all, we enjoyed visiting Milan's sights and Expo 2015 using this apartment as our base.
